A maf code isnt always a maf. A few common probs are a vacuum leak anywhere after the maf can cause the maf code and a running problem. A manifold press. sensor will cause it, and also a faulty pcm. Those are a few places to look, a vacuum leak is the most common. I get MAF codes all the time at work, when I have problems with the other things i mentioned above.
