Default Best way to reset idle?

Just did spark plugs for the first time.. after 2 hours and some scraped knuckles, she's back together. I unplugged the battery when I did it in case i dropped a socket where I shouldnt.

When I started the car up, I let it idle for about 5 minutes, and then let it idle in gear for another 5 minutes, and with the ac on again. I saw that from the search here on the forum..

I've noticed that when I start the car up cold the idle is still a little crappy for the first minute or so.. is there something i'm missing here or doing wrong?

Give it time, after a few drive cycles it will be fine.

Remove the throttle body and clean it thoroughly, and also remove the idle air controller from the throttle body and clean it seperately (don't break it though). That will help your idle a lot.
