Default Quick help with stuck fittings??

Replacing the fuel level sensor on my 2000 Silverado... Well I'm having trouble with GM's hand releasable fittings (my *** rofl)... You know the little plastic fittings that connects the nylon lines to the steel hard lines. Where all you gotta do it pinch the plastic tabs and it pulls apart with ease... Well mine isn't being so nice, anyone else have this same problem? Any tips to getting them apart without breaking ****?

Blow out the fittings with air. Then push in as you squeeze the tabs and then pull back.
