Default Service engine soon light blinking(weird)

Ok might light has been on for a while now but i just thought it was my o2 sensor but i put new ones in and the light is still blining. Alright heres the weird part that i noticed tonight the light only blinks when i shift into 6th gear and my car has a slight consistant shake to it (only in 6th)My tranny was just rebuilt 4 mouths ago so i thinks is might be spark related but idk, anyone had this problem?

-Thanks

well its not really weird that its shakes and the light is blinking. beacause the reason why its blinking is because you are having a sever misfire

but yea your going to want to get the code read because that will help let you know if its random , or if its letting you know what cylinder its misfiring on.

It could be that your tranny is acting so fubar that the computer thinks you have a misfire. Is the only time when this happens when you're in 6 gear? It will work fine throughout the RPM range in every other gear?

get your codes read. It's a misfire.

6th gear = large load

And keep your foot out of it until you get that misfire fixed, it's blinking to warn you that you are in danger of damaging the catalytic converters (if you still have them).
