last Problem To Fix, Please Help!!! Ok everyone my 96 formula bird has had a check engine light since i resealed the intake and put a new fuel pressure regulator on back in november. i keep clearing the code it is sometimes a cylinder 1 misfire, but most of the time it is a random misfire code. i just put new plugs and wires on(3oo miles ago), the distributor is a OE vented replacement and has just over 10,000 miles on it. i sprayed down all the vacum lines with gum cutter and didnt find a leak. i also pulled the injector wires one at a time while the car was running and when u pull them u notice the small extra shake it gets and then plug it back in and it stops. so my question is does any one have any other idea what this could be? could this be a fuel pressure regulator? could it have wrong gaskets on intake? Someone please help have to have car running good for car show season. Thanks
My first thought was vacuum leak, but you already checked that. It might be worth trying a new intake gasket anyway, maybe there's a leak but it's small enough that the spray method doesn't show it? Any pinging or lean codes?

No there is no pinging or lean codes right now. when i first got the car about a year and a half ago. after about six months i had an o2 sensor code and if i can remember correctly it was a lean code. so all i did was just clear the code and it never came back on. but i was reading another post on here and someone had kinda the same problem and everyone thought it was the o2 sensor. but all of them have headers and i dont. my car has 108,500 miles on it and they have never been replaced. does any one think this could be my problem.
