power steering?
power steering? i was backing out of my driveway and i heard a pop 
went back up the driveway and saw a trail of fluid (yellowish) and had a feeling it was the power steering. lately the engine would dip from 1000 on the tach to 600 or so when turning backing out so there was some drag on it. i check and there was that fluid all over the pullies. but whats wierd is it doesnt even look like its coming from any of the hoses. also i was hearing a whirring noise and when i turn the wheels itll turn maybe an inch then itll go stiff.

That sure sounds like power steering. Best to look a little closer. If you really want to find out where it's coming from, have a buddy pour fluid into the reservoir while you're underneath. Then you'll see where it comes from as it goes in your eye.
