Default Car has hard time starting

I have a 98 LS1 Camaro...

It has a hard time starting, it will crank no problem, after about 5 seconds, it will start... or if I crank it, turn the key back then recrank it it'll start up...

Any ideas on what it might be? Mods in sig..

Thanks!

Had a similar problem on a 1998 TA.Turned out to be the fuel pump.

You might want to (if you haven't already) make sure your car has had a decent tune up.That way you can eliminate all the obvious/simple problems.Plugs, wires, fuel filter, good battery....etc

Good luck.

Just installed TR55's, MSD wires, new 02 sensors, battery is new... only thing I havent gotten around to yet is a fuel filter.

What pump should I go with? Planning a cam swap later this year

This could also be a faulty crank position sensor. I had one go bad on my 99 TA with only 12k miles on it. It will make the car slow to start.

I had the same issue, it was a bad ignition relay.
