I have a problem that has just begun and i was wondering if anyone could help me out .. I have a 97 LT1 that has begun to not start at certain times . The dash lights flash and then it is like i have a totally dead battery and have to reset everything radio Stations,etc. Now if i come back to car in 2 hours it starts .. Also 1 time all i did was put it in Nuetral and roll back 15 feet and put in park and it started right up .. Yes it is a Automatic.. i do know the egr is bad i am going to delete it along with other things when i get the money .. but i can't figure this problem unless it is because my brake solenoid is bad ..Can anyone help ,Thank u

Hard to say but I would start with checking all your cable connections, + &-, and make sure they are clean and tight. If it is actually losing power something is not making a good contact.
