Default Idle?
My car idles at 500. IS this normal? what is a normal idle for a 99 ls1?
my car shakes a little sometimes.

No, it's programmed to idle at 560 rpm for an automatic in gear, and IIRC 800 rpm for a manual trans.

That explains your other problem with the AC that I just replied to.
