Question **Power Options**

Well i was looking at a z28 which didn't have power options and wanted to how much it would run to add power windows and locks, power seats its not a big deal to me, im sure its been done before so just wanted to know what it cost you guys.

If you want all power, I would say about:

300 for the windows

200 for the locks

250 for the mirrors

100-250 for the seat

Don't throw away those manual regulators - lots of people are looking for them. If you want power windows, you might check out this kit: http://electric-life.com/shopdisplay...ch=yes&sub=126

You'll still need the electrical and switchgear to go with it. I replaced my stock power windows with this kit (hoping to escape burned out the issues with burned-out motors) and it tuned out to be faster/smoother than the OEM gear. So far, its been great and has worked perfectly over the last year. The jury is still out with regard to durability - we'll see in a few years.

There are after market parts to help facilitate all of this, but if you want a stock look - that will probably be your larger issue. (Finding the needed trim pieces in good shape for a good price.) Classic Industries probably carries 60-85% of what you'll need, although key pieces (like door panels) seem to still be MIA from the catalog.
