Default Odd Blinker Issue, and a Headlight question

Umm....well to start things off, I have a odd Blinker issue on my 95 Z, when the key is on the ON postion and NOT running, I have blinkers, work correctly and all, but once the engine starts, Game Over Blinkers, they just stop working, but yet I have hazzards.....anyone experiance that or can point me in a direction?....and also....I was looking how year one retro fitted what looks to be a one peice 88-98 Chevy F/S truck lamp in place of the 2 square halogens like we have on our LTx cars...wondering if you could o somthing simular with ours or if anyone has tried it, without it looking funny as ****...Cause I know ours are offset a smidge..if so, pics would be appreciated
