Try lubing the swaybar bushings and the LCA bushings. That's what squeaked on mine and a friends car (his LCAs didn't squeak/bang though).

I would focus on the swaybar bushings, they're cheap so buy replacements. The swaybar bushings on our car ended up being the squeak, tore it apart and they were all worn out

it might be those because from what i know they have never been changed and the car has 115000 miles on it. how long should it take to replace them?

About 30 mins (excluding time spent jacking the car up).
It's four bolts all in all.

Don't rule out the exhaust rubbing under the car. This was the case for me and my friend's LT1 car. Check the simple stuff first, then move on.

My rear passenger side squeaks over bumps and it annoys me a lot. I sprayed the shock and it stopped for about a day. I used WD40 and didn't expect it to last long. Anyone know what I can use until I get the money to replace the shock?

i have a vert and my squeaks like nobodies business over bumps and such. ESPCIALLY during winter. a silicon based lubricant would be 10x better than wd40. gravity will naturally pull wd40 off the bushings. something silicon based will hold longer. i need to do mine.

best theing to do is have someone.. big or strong enough to push down on the back corner and around the trunk lid of the car. while you under it. (not jacked up) and just listen for the squeaks.
