Voltage question

Voltage question Today i noticed that when i shift from Park to drive (a4) the voltage gauge dips to where its yellow and back up along with the a/c backing off as well. It didnt do this before. I had the a/c do that to me in the past while in idle at a redlight but it hasnt done it anymore until this today. Also at a redlight today i noticed the voltage gauge dip again on its own but not as bad as when i shift from p to d. I had the a/c on and the radio. Alternator? battery?Any comments are welcome.

Well the in gear idle is lower than park/neutral. I'd start with the easiest thing first - check the battery terminal connections and get a free load test on the battery. Once when mine was doing that at lights with the AC/fans on the battery died a couple weeks later.
