Help with play in steering I have a little play in my steering while driving, just changed tie rods and it helped a little , just wondering if the rack can get loose the way old steering boxs did and if there is any adjustment or if any one has any ideas?

Did you replace inners and outters?
The rack can wear. With the old style you could offset it a bit and regain some firmness but you will always have play with a ramp and ***** style box.
With a rack you can't cure play other than replacement!

how would i offset my stock rack? wat does dat do?
You can't offset the rack. In older style steering boxes where you had recircluating ***** you could adjust it.
With a rack there is no adjustment. The only adjustment in a rack I know of is the bearing preload. But I have no idea what it affects.
