Default Need Help!!!!

Okay so heres the deal. I got a 98 z28 with a LS2 vengeance vindicator 2 cam and som nitrous. The car has a stock 4l60e. So I was driving down the road goin about 40 and hit some water and started hydroplaning. I kept the car straight and when it caught dry concrete it jerked back straight. Now heres the problem. when I went to hit the gas the car hesitated real bad then shifted real rough, as I hit the gas it started shaking real bad under my *** so i pulled over. The car revs up fine in neutral and all bellhousing and drive shaft bolts are tight. Any ideas on the problem? Need help guys.

So are you still on the side of the road or what? Did you drive it home?
If you drove it home how did that go?

well I was only about two miles from my apartment so I just drove it. the car was just bogging and vibrating real bad right before it would shift then when it did shift the shift were real harsh. Like I said all bolts were tight and the car revs up fine in nuetral I'm just stumped on what the problem is. Other than the tranny might just be about to take sh*t i don't know. Any thoughts?

Water got on the MAF through the intake?

When the check engine light comes on, have the code scanned. That will be a good starting point, starting at whats throwing codes.

Water got on something... It sounds like you are not runnign on all 8 cylinders. I would WD-40 the ends of your spark plug wires to dry out any water that got on there.

I may be completely off on this one. But you may wana check your rear end. I was with a buddy of mine when we trashed his dana 40 from spinning in a gravel parking lot, and then the wheels catching on the black top. It puts a lot of stress on the rear end when they catch like you described.
