Battery voltage question
14.1- 14.7 is what mine is running. Anything under 12.0 the car won't start. With a car just started the voltage should climb from 12.6 up to 14.1-7. IF all other eletrical system are working right and no draws on the car I.e stero boom boom, lights etc.,
It's also noteworthy to use a separate meter, your gauge on the dash is simply a reference and not all that accurate. Even more important than voltage output is amperage output, of both the battery and the alternator.
Hum...Mine runs at 13.0 after its warmed up, I am having a issue with my N20, and I think it may be voltage related, I am going to check it with a volt meter N/A and I am going to activate the spray and see what the voltage drops to. I can be driving 65 down the interstate and it is at 13.0 all the time, so after the spray is activated and the big fuel pump it may be the issue. If I am driving at 65 and turn on the 2 bottle heaters it drops below 13.0, till I shut them down. Thanx for the input.
