dimmer switch?

dimmer switch? So I my I can't switch my high/low beams anymore so I pulled off the two plastic pieces on the column and black piece fell out that looked like this?
Heres another picture of where it came from:
Heres a picture of me trying to put it back but not knowing how the hell it goes in there.
So I don't know if anyone else has ever had this problem but if anyone has any tips/pics on how the hell to fix this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

So could anyone possibly post pictures of how there dimmer switch looks intact. I realize it may be hard to understand where these pictures came from since its such a closeup. So if I need to post more pictures let me know, thanks.
