Default Security system major headache

So between the security system and the VATS i think i am going to go nuts.

Every couple days I will try to start my car and the security system will go off and not stop no matter what I do.

Also, I did the VATS bypass and had it disabled in the computer but it still happens once in a while + the light comes on while I'm driving at random

Anybody know what my problem is? I would greatly appreciate any help

Not sure what's going on here. If VATS was bypassed with the correct resistor value you shouldn't ever have a security light. Are you opening the car with the key when the alarm is armed? If that's the case you only have a few seconds before getting the key into the ignition before VATS will set the alarm off if the resistor isn't within the nominal range. Just some ideas...we're talking stock alarm/VATS right?

The key I use has no resistor on it (to open the car). And I am positive I did the VATS bypass correctly.

Like today, I unlocked my passenger door from inside the car. Alarm started going off like crazy when I tried to start it, It wouldn't start until it had gone though 2-3 cycles. VATS light never came on though, it just wouldn't crank over
