01 SS M6 113k miles. Any ideas guys??
To the OP did u ever get your problem fixed. Also do you have catalytic converters if you do ine or both of them could be clogged. Right before I bought my SS it had the same codes the guy selling it told me that there was a GM recall on the cats and that he was taking it to the dealership to have it fixed...He did it was fixed and I bought and for the 4-5 months I still had cats there was no problem. Then I cut them off Oh-Well.

Well, I found the problem (P0171/P0174). It was that rubber 45 degree elbow between the Intake and what I believe the vacuum check valve. I checked it before, but it was actually torn on the bottom side. I taped it up until I can find something to replace it with.

well whether or not the problem was related...I was running really low on oil after only about 2500 miles(my low oil light was saying low even when full since I got the car)

I might have over revved it last night racing and smoking a loud *** stang...now the motor is knocking at the top of each gear and its down on power...I even changed and filled the oil...no luck.
