window regulator spring?
window regulator spring? how does the window regulator spring go on it fell off when i did a motor install and i put it back on but i think it fell off how does it go on pics would be helpful.
From what other posters have said in the past, it wont hurt anything, at least i hope not, cause as i said i too didn't put it back on. And my window works as it should.
Yes, it will hurt the motor. The spring is the counter balance for the weight of the window. (Just like you see in an elevator or a double hung window in your house.) The window will work without the spring, but the motor will have to work many times harder to put the window up and you will burn it out faster as a result.
