cam position sensor going bad
cam position sensor going bad i know this should go on performancetrucks.net but this forum stays busy and i need an answer asap.
I got a buddy that has a 05 or 06 escalade with a 6.0 in it. he says the engine light came on and he took it to autozone and they said it was the cam position sensor that needed to be replace. i told him i could replace it for him. my question is, is it just as simple as to take out the old one and put in the new one or does the computer need to be flashed or what? thanks fellas
