Clicking/Clacking upon Acceleration
My 2002 firehawk has a clack/click noise when i give it a little quick tap on the gas. It sounds like something torquing up and hitting something. It can happen if i let off the gas at low speeds then hit the gas lightly to resume speed. Its a very distinctive "clack" noise. What could this be?
Also when I lightly apply the brakes at low speeds, I get a rattling noise from the rear. Looking at the rotors I can see pieces cracked off on the inside part of the rotor. I am pretty sure the rotor is causing that noise, sometimes right after i let off the brakes at very low speeds 5-10 mph I can hear it for a couple more seconds before it stops.
These two problems are making driving annoying because I like the feel of my car being solid. Any input would be appreciated.
