Default car wont start

aight guys the other day i was trying to hide the wires from my cutout (trying to move them to a different position) and while i was doing this the negative wire touched the positive wire and the key on the car was on the on position while i was doing this.

now when i try to start my car theres no lights on the dash but hte radio and headlights etc work fine. also you can hear the fuel pump prime. but car will not crank

i checked the fuses and relays and all are good.
im thinking that i can be the ignition switch?

also the tcs light does not turn on anymore thats where i had the cutout + cable connected to.

does anything know if the tcs is controlled by a specific fuse or something?

any ideas on what I could check or what can be the problem.

That's why step #1 of almost any repair or install instructions begens: "disconnect positive battery cable".

Sorry, I couldn't resist. What happened to the TCS switch? The TCS works with the PCM and ABS so you can't just remove the switch.

Explain more about what you did with the wiring. You can use the spot where the TCS goes for your cutout switch, but I believe that the TCS switch must remain connected behind the dash somewhere.

Yea I know i have a feeling its going to be a hard lesson learned for not doing that.

well the tcs is connected nothing has been disconnected but when i put the key on the on position or try to turn on the car the light on the tcs switch doesnt light up anymore and none of hte lights on the dash turn on.

the radio, turns on fine everything else turns on fine except car will not start.

if i put the turn signals it will show it on the dash.

hopefully is just the ignition switch and not hte pcm.
