Default Electrical Problem with turn signals.

My cars turn signals are confusing the **** out of me. My left turn signal will work and my right one wont, then my right will work sometimes and my left one wont. I changed all of the bulbs and my car still is doing it. The fuse was fine but I was told by a friend that the flasher plug might be bad. Does anyone know where this flasher plug is located or any ideas on whats going on?

I doubt its the flasher plug, but if you want to eliminate that as a possibility........

On the driver side, take off the panel under the dash where your legs go. It should be clipped to a metal support kind of where your right knee/shin would be during normal driving. While looking for it only the clip that holds it to the metal will be visible. Its behind said support. Its a cylinder like canister apparatus.

Sorry my description sucks. Its late.
