I have quicktime long tube headers ,slp lid, knn filter, loudmouth exhaust, Y-Pipe with dual electric cutouts ....I dont have my rear 02 sensors connected anymore and all i do is delete the codes when they pop up ..can this be an issue...oh yeah havent changed the spark plug EVER my gauge is saying 49,000 miles as well as my fuel filter, Can my air/fuel ratio be off because of the header install????? need help ...getting out of the MARINES pretty soon and going to be driving from 29 Palms ,California to Dallas,Tx

I dont think ive gotten more than 200 to a tank ever, and im all stock except for intake and exhaust. And thats with mixed highway/city driving. Your tune is probably off

A4 or M6?

I have about the same mods listed above, except a power flo exhaust, best I've seen was 350+ per tank on a 1100 mile trip, that equals out to 27 MPG.
I've got an M6 with 3.73's
This trip pushed it over to 51,000 miles.
Has about 18,000 on the NGK plugs and I changed the fuel filter a few times.
Stock tune.

I would definitely get new O2 sensors and then a tune, ASAP.

Ya get a good tune. Find someone that will actually ride in the car with you with a wideband. That will get you the best mileage possible right there.

Get a wideband O2 sensor. Then you will know. Once you have your A/f ratio you have an idea of what is going on. Till then you can play guessing games.

My car is pulling 350miles to a tank highway and 200-250miles to a tank in city.

A tune is needed for any cam or head changes usually.

I am at about 300 miles... a lot of city driving... 60% city. Mileage improves when its HWY. Get it tuned right.... also... lay off the pedal once in a while... lol.

The worst I got in my 98 z28 is 22mpg. That's with a a4 and 3 passes down the strip.

With the mods in the signature, except for my new additions (the FAST90, nw90, 30 lbs injectors, and 85mm tb) with an M6 I was getting 320+ miles per tank on the highway. NOt sure what I am getting now.
