PCV valve question
PCV valve question I have a hole in the hose that connects the pcv valve to the intake. After searching around i found part# 12573109 from GMpartsdirect.com for $66.39. Is this just the hose's or is the pcv valve included ? Could i just buy the valve and the hose to the intake ? Also would this cause erratic oil pressure readings ?
If I remember right that is the whole thing, but before you buy that try a search on here. This seems to be a very common problem, and I'm pretty sure you can just replace the hose with some PCV hose of the correct size and be good to go.
the random oil pressure reading is from the oil pressure sensor in back of the intake. i too have the oil pressure problem. best way to do this is to buy a hose that fits onto the pcv and use a tee to step the hose size down
