AC box question

AC box question i have a 88 iroc and i was wondering if the evap core box on my car can be removed and replaced by a non AC blower case. talking about the black case under the hood that bolts to the firewall. just wondering if it will bolt up in the same position or not. has anybody done this? Dont know if this is the right place to ask this but no help on thirdgen.org yet. thanks alot for any info..
Yes it will fit (1LE), but the fan motors are different sizes (or at least the plastic cage).
I heard a rumour that one out of a Fiero will fit, but I don't know so can't confirm that. But if you pick up an a/c delete box with the right motor already in it, you'll be good to go.
