Default Wierd vibration/shaking at ~70mph

so when im driving on the highway in 6th gear at around 70mph the car seems like it shakes more than other speeds, it seems like it decreases before like 65ish and again after 75ish, but from like 66ish to like 72ish it seems to shake more. Any ideas guys?

Let people know where you feel the shaking. Rear? Front? Steering Wheel/Column?

Check out your driveshaft. Common problem esp at high speeds.

There are alot of good threads on this if you are talking about the steering wheel shake. My 02 transam had a real bad steering wheel shake above 55 on the interstate, it was a D/D car and the problem was that the 4 tires had to be re- balanced. It would feel like the wheel was shaking out of my hand.

Just had the tires balanced and it still shakes. It also feels as if the whole car shakes.

How can i check the driveshaft to see if its the cause of any of this?

I have what seems to be the same problem after installing a new differential in the factory rear. I did drop the driveshaft to take the pinion out and inspect it... is a driveshaft so prescisely balanced that putting the u-joint bolts in different holes will cause this vibration?

the vibration is felt inthe steering wheel

Make sure you get them balanced with a road force balancer. You can check Discount Tire's website and it will show locations that offer this. Most people can't balance worth a damn without a road force balancer. I was sick after I had this done and found out how far off the weights were...some were on the wrong side of the wheel!
Also ask them to use tape weights so they don't tear up the lip of your wheel.

get the balance checked at another shop. you wouldn't believe how many cars come in with tires that were "just balanced" and how far off they are.

If you want to find a road force balancer, follow that link. On the top of the page click locate and plug in your zip. Having used one of these machines before, I understand why they charge more to do a road force. It does take a bit longer per tire. Well worth it though. We solved many shaking and pulling problems with that machine after we got one. I've got the same problem on my 02 WS6 and will be taking it to my dealer to get a road force balance done.
