bcm removal?
I am going to remove my bcm . The plastic rivets that are in that plate below
the glove compartmment. Do they get destroyed during removal or do they twist out and are reusable? The screw and spring plate at the back how is
that removed? Thanks for any help.

The clip scre things are kind of re-usable. Just depends on how badly you mangle them upon removal. As far as the spring thing, just use a screw driver.
The BCM just unlips from the holding bracket.
Pop the glove box down, it will help a bit.

yeah theyre just christmas tree clips. yank em right out. the thing in the back is pretty useless IMO. just pull that washer spring thing w/e it is.
hardest part about getting the bcm out for me was unhooking it from the top. ***** tricky when youre laying on your back and buzzin off a few beers

It's been a year since I did this bcm fix and it worked well until recently
now the problem is back and it was a problem in the summer time now the
problem is back in the winter. I don't think I will mess with it untill summer
2010. I didn't add any solder to the connections when I did the fix just heated the joint.
