Has anybody tried the ebay catback for F-bodies, if so how is the quality/fit, any sound clips? Thanks in advance.

i'm guessing its just a dynomax intermediate pipe, and over axle pipe....with any one of a dozen generic single in, dual out mufflers and tips.

i'm sure fit is as good as any catback.

sound depends on the muffler, but i wouldn't expect anything crazy. probably better than stock though.

summit sells the dynomax pipes for about $120 total i think. then pick your favorite muffler, and tips...cheap custom exhaust.

OK, I just saw what I think is this catback. Its the Magnaflow. The name is covered up because they are listing it below the minimum advertised price.

One of the sponsors on here, Speedtweekerz sell them for about the same price.

Definitely a Magnaflow system. You can beat that price and get free shipping with several of our sponsors

Oh its Magnaflow no doubt. I guesss there are 2 ways to skin that cat.

1 - Post lowest advertised price and have people email or call for lowest price

2 - Dont mention the brand.

Switching gears somewhat, why is the LT1 system cheaper when it has more piping?

The LS1 link you have above is for a 3.8 V6, not an LS1.
Although the LS1 setup is $50+ more for some reason.

Here's LS1 link:

I know the vendor name sounded familiar, but couldn't find them on here to see how the price compared. Maybe they aren't a sponsor anymore, or the sponsor links are outdated?

I know for a fact that they used to be a sponsor. Im not sure what happened there. The sponsor fees are high as a camel **** on here I know that much. It used to be in the $400 range.
