Do LPP's leak like QTP's?
QTP customer services sucks a fat Somalian wiener.. I called them about issues with my headers (leaks) and they seemed put off that I had even called, mind you this was before I even explained my issue!
And finally the pièce de résistance: "That 1/16" gap will seal up when the header gets hot and it won't leak!"
LOL
I know yer one satisfied QTP customer; you've barked yer horn/been in the tank for them for years. It’s the 10-20% of folks that get the bad quality parts from QTP that are left out in the cold - they don't feel as obliged towards the company as you do.
I'll bet yer gonna vote for Obama too...well you won't be able to return him either!
As for my voting...maybe you should check out the SSU political section for my opinions
You have to keep it all relative. If 1,000 people out there have leaky QTP collectors and they sold 40,000 sets of headers, you'll have 2.5% of people out there with leaky collectors. Is 1,000 people a lot of people? Well, not when you have sold so many. It's a relatively small number. It's all about perspective, know what I mean? A lot of people out there have had cars that have broken down. Should we all stop driving cars because of that?
If you like the QTP design, get yourself a set. Before you put them on the car, cap the ends of the primaries and fill them up with water. See if any water leaks out. If they're leaky and QTP won't take care of you send them back to whoever you bought them from. Since they weren't installed, there won't be any problems returning them. That's my advice. I inspected all the welds very closely before I installed the headers because it only takes a pinhole miss of a weld to have a problem. It's really that simple. So far, I don't think I have any problems. They made 338rwhp through an auto, so they definitely work
