Problem with gas pedal

Problem with gas pedal Alright here's how this story goes.
Friday evening had a tune thrown in the car just to get the car to idle on cold start up since my tuner didn't have time for a full blown tune. Well its gonna be a week before he can get back to it. Well the next morning I get up and get in the car and the idle is way too high. Even in gear its way too high, high as in it will go 20 mph w/out touching the throttle. So I decide to back it down using the throttle stop. No problem. I get it to be manageable, but now I have an issue with the gas pedal being hard to push in. Its only hard to push once I let completely off the throttle and go to push it again. I've tried adjusting it and no help. What the hell is going on? Never had a problem with it before.

The throttle blade is hanging up inside the throttle body. If adjusting it back doesn't fix it the blade most likely bent slightly. Try loosening the bolts that hold the blade to the throttle shaft and repositioning the blade so it doesn't drag. You can also lightly sand on the blade to give a bit more clearance.
