Was the 10th result after searching for "how to install converter". You just need to learn how to narrow searches . Literally took me less than 2 minutes from the time I read this thread, to posting up the link.

Just buy rear corvette sensors (bosch 13111). Or, you can swap pins on the pcm with the rear O2 sensor wires (since you won't be using them) with the fronts. That way you can just use the rear O2 connections, which have plenty of room to attach to the fronts when using headers. I had problems with the signal when I used extensions.

If you're not comfortable, then don't attempt. It's simply unbolting the gray cover on the pcm and remove the pins for the front O2's, and replace them with the rear O2's. This means you have to know where the front and rear pins are located on the pcm. If you don't understand what I'm saying, then don't try it

Just get yourself some corvette 02 sensors. I did that and have not had a single problem with codes or anything.

the O2 ext just plug in to your stock connections, the "extend" longer to reach the new connector on the Y, no splicing of any kind.

A lot of people seem to have trouble with these extensions though and throwing O2 sensor codes. I have always heard it is because the O2 sensors are farther down the exhaust path and they don't heat up to the proper temperature that they need to be to "switch". The corvette sensors are made to be farther down the exhaust path because thats how they are on the corvettes so the heater elements in them are stronger to help them get hotter. I don't know for sure if this is the true reason but it is what I have seen posted many times.

take it easy fella's... I spent 100 on my 02 sims..... It was a waste because as soon as you get a tune they can just tune em out. When i took off my EGR and AIR system, I NEEDED a tune anyway so be careful what you buy and make sure you need it.

BTW Ls1howto tells you everything you need to know, I used it on my converter, headers, cam swap, and refrenced it to make sure i took my intake off without damaging anything behind the intake i couldnt see... its a GREAT site.

No one said anything about 02 sims. I dont' know y you would buy them half the time the don't work, and you just as well get the codes deleted. We are talking about o2 extensions.
