I can show you post after post of poeple who's thundervolts fell apart and I have pics to show you why. They use a single crimp terminal on the spark plug end that when it manipulated to much breaks easier than a paper clip.

If your MSD fell apart it wasn't made by me. The boots on the MSD slip on and off, they are not part of what holds the wire together.

For the OP.... people go to iridiums and platinum for longevity not for power.
The Tr55 copper plug is on of the best conductive plugs on the market.

I sell one set of iridiums to every 50 sets of copper plugs. Its your money and your choice, but I'd go with the tr55 or tr6 and I sell all NGK with my wires.

As far as what you need to services. Just follow the FSM on it recommended schedule. Using better oil, plug and part is always a good idea.

I am using Crane Wires and TR55's.. no problem, but it also ran good on the Stock wires and stock AC plugs that were in the engine when I got it.

Just read the threads and recommendation, then make your own option on what is good and what works in your budget.

If you have the $$$ and time, then maybe doing the Trial and error for different parts will help you find what works for you. Being in different in a area, climate and your driving habits will end up with different results for everyone.

Just use the Good Brand Name stuff and try some the remmmendations of other as you seen fit.

Good luck

I have never had a problem with MSD wires or with NGK plugs. I have seen expensive wires "break" when they were pulled and jerked on. Not when they were carefulley handeled

BAhhhhh!!! You can jerk my wire all you want and bend it to a 90 a few different times and they won't break. MSD has superior electrodes hands down !

The taylor has one single thin band of metal to connect the head to the rest of the electrode

The MSD is a multi-angle, it has 4 bands of metal to the head for flexing in any direction

The MSD is far superior. In addtion the crimping ears on the coil end electrode are long on the MSD than the Taylor providing superior grip there as well.

My point is that even a good part like the MSD will break with abuse weather they are yours or not!

I doubt it very much. You can bend the wire ten times before it will break, and even then you wont break all 4 bands, thats way beyond any reasonable expectation and you need pliers to pull my crimped wires apart.

Yes certain products do stand out above the rest. I guaranty mine for life for a reason. I know you wil burn the wire or sell the car before one of my wires will fail. OR just buy new ones from me later down the road because after you handle them enough they get dirty...LOL and you want a new set of clean wires on there

LOL, you stated a few things that aren't true and since I take spark plug wires more seriously for an obvious reason, I had to correct you. All expensive wires are not the same and like any product research will benefit you. Sorry if you think it's argumentative..LOL

You are being argumentative for no reason. I was not wrong in any of my prior statements. I stated that in any abusive situation even a quality part is capable of breaking, weather they are yours or not. I have had multiple sets of MSD wires and never had one break. But on the other hand I have seen the ends of an MSD wire break before.
