Default possible tensioner problems

my tensioner keeps throwing a belt even with a new belt installed. This is after recently adding an ls6 intake, 1.85 rockers, headers, offroad y pipe, borla exhaust and 4.10 gears. Anyone else having a similar problem and/or know what could be the case. Would figure that the tensioner is still new enough NOT to fail but what could it possibly be other than that? And if it is, are there any ways to beat this, such as a better aftermarket tensioner? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Katech used to have a stronger tensioner then the stock one to help with this problem. I think Lingenfelter has one too.

I ordered a "larry pulley" from Thunder Racing and it completely eliminated my belt throwing problems. It was about $60-70. I think it is made by ASP.

It is just a replacement for the stock tensioner pulley. It has higher ridges than the stock one. The tensioner itself is still stock.
