Default how to remove the spring from the left of the TB

anyone know how to remove the spring from the left side of the TB? TIA I need it removed for powder coating

I think if you take the two screws out that hold the blade onto the shaft the whole assembly slides apart.

I took the blade out, but it doesn't want to come out. Should I tap it easily with a hammer?

The shaft is secured with a cupped spring retaining ring that pushes over the shaft on the end opposite the cam and spring. If you remove the shaft with a SFH, you really should put on a new retaining ring, but many folks don't.

Look closely at the ring before your remove the shaft. Don't reinstall it backwards.
