Default Adding new mods next month

I am going to be putting some pacesetter lts, the pacesetter ory, a hooker max flow muffler and have a custom 3" cb built. I am also going to add some msd wires and some ngk plugs and get the car tuned by boost performance. Oh yeah, I am also getting a smooth bellow and getting some mt e/t streets. These are the last mods I am going to get to add for a while, seeing as how my girl is ready to get a house and start a family and such, so I am just wondering what I could expect to gain from these mods and if they are going to be able to keep me satisfied for a while. This car is already bad *** in my eyes and I am hoping that these will be enough, at least for now. The price for all of this is around 1200 dollars so I am just wanting to make sure its worth it.

Sounds good... Save your money and pass on the bellows. use it for a "ram air" http://fasttoys.net/shop/index.php?cPath=84_24_27_42

30ish is about right with a good tune... i would put some 373s in there also.... that should fuel you for a while, especially since you think it is already bad ***... but that could also start the mod bug...

What is a fernco mod? I am wanting to do the smooth bellows cuz my stock pipe has creases and bends in it and I know that the smooth bellow is going to flow better even if not that much hp gain.

fernco mod.. go to a local plumbing/hardware store.. they have little rubber things called ferncos.. dont know what they are used for.. i think its the 3 1/4 inch one people use... then do a little modification to it and put it on..

its about 4 dollars compared to SLPs 60 dollars.. does the same thing...

but again.. its a waste of time/money.. there are people with 4..5...600rwhp running the stock bellows.. all of ours has the creases and bends in it.. save your money.. it could be used elsewhere.. put it towards gears.. the difference between gears and a bellow......... hmmmmmm, you would **** your pants over the difference..

Aight you convinced me. BTW, I know the difference between some gears and a smooth bellow. My friend has 3.73s in his SS and that thing is pretty sick.

I already have a cutout, I just want something that sounds different, and the hooker doesn't rasp. I think I'm gonna keep the same gears though, kinda like my gas mileage the way it is.

More stop and go driving. It's my daily driver. We do like to go places out of town alot though, so if the 3.73 isn't really going to hurt my day to day, I would do that no doubt. Could you tell me where to get some, if that's the case.

you will get better gas mileage with the 3.73s around town than with the other gears... and worse gas mileage on the highway... but in all honesty man, it would be well worth the pick up it will give you in speed..

i bought mine used..... but they constantly have them in the F/S section.. you can get new or used... people sell ones that are still brand new in the box for 20-30 bucks cheaper than a store...

if you have stock 3.23 gears, you need series 3 carrier..
if you have stock 2.73 gears, you need series 2 carrier..

thats what id do..
