Now............I know it's around here somewhere.........Oh, that's right; I painted it dark green, stuck a turtle head & tail on it, & it's now floating in my coi pond as an ornament.
There can be only one reason, IMO. Holley has learned that there are no marketable gains over the LS6 up to 6300 RPM on stock engines, including under the curve. Further, it is possible to make good power up to 293 CFM per runner by modifying the LS6 intake. So, if your interested in making the most of your street car up to 6300 RPM, then look into a TPIS modified LS6 intake.
GM did a great job & must have truly applied the knowledge learned from the LS1 intake, because the LS6 intake is quite efficient.
then look into a TPIS modified LS6 intake.

What is this....TPIS manifold you speak of.....

I gave up on the Weiand a long time ago. LS6 is where its at unless you feel the need to spend a grand on a fast.
TPIS (Tuned port induction specialties). They offer a service to modify the inlet of an LS6 intake to either a 90mm from an LS2 intake or a 75x90mm inlet. Another option for a budget modification is to increase the LS6 inlet size on your own.
The TPIS is not how mine is modified
