My SES light keeps coming on. HELP!!!
So I took it to AUTOZONE to scan the code ad this what it came up with.
The PCM has determined that the input voltage from o2 sensor 1 in bank 2 is too low forcurrent operating conditions. (Oxygen sensor 1 is the closest the cylinder head before the cat conv. while o2 sensors 2&3 located futher downstream and are typically mounted in or after the cat conv.)(bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder#1, while bank to 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank) Please HELP!!!!
you said it had long tubes...i think....are the wires spliced and lengthened or does it have extensions??
when i done my longtubes i lengthened the wires"instead of doing it right"...ended up ordering extensions and installing new o2s....i was getting low voltage codes...if you plan on keeping the car modding it or whatever i recomend you get some sort of obd2 scan tool...it will save you alot of headache...

b1s1 - drivers front o2 used for a/f
b1s2 - drivers rear sensor for cat
b2s1 - passenger front
b2s2 - passenger rear
sound to me like your front drivers sensor is bad. could be a burned wire since you just messed with them for the exhaust work. or could be they wore through the insulation somehow.
get under it, recheck all wire routing and replace the sensor. one thing you could try is swapping the front sensors from side to side. if the issue follows the sensor to b2..than you know its the sensor. if it doesn't you have eliminated that possibility, and that means wire issues.
