Egr block off problem

Well on my 99 i took off all the egr crap when i put my headers on of course,and for the intake i used a flat peice of plasticand and siliconed around it,and its not doing so well.i had to reseal it once already because it sprang a leak LOL,but it is a pain in the ***.any body have any idea's??
anyone got any pics of what they used to block it off with??

go to autozone and get a expansion plug to fit in the hole

ya i think its a 1 3/8 expension plug that works the best.

i got the freez plug from speedinc for like 2 bucks and it simply taps in place and works perfect.
i just put the plug in the hole and i used a socket extentsion and taped it lightly and it worked perfect.

^^^ Yeah what he said. I have a picture of the plug that was on my LS1 IM before I swaped for LS6. If you want a pic PM me your e-mail I'll send it VIA my cell phone.

It just looks like a freeze plug and it sounds like the guys above sent you in the right direction to get one. Like I said if you still need a pic I will send ya one.
