I have an 00 SS with QTP LT, Carsound Hi Flo Cats, and LM. I love the sound inside the car but people tell me that outside, it has some rasp. I bought a dynomax bullet and I'm about to install it in a couple days. What I'm asking is, is the Dynomouth quieter then the LM? Should I stay with the LM? I like the sound of my LM but without the rasp. I need some input!
Thanks

Loudmouth is a little louder but not too much. Basically the bullet muffler will gove you 90% of the loudness you have now minus the rasp and 2000 rpm drone (assuming you have that).
I say put in the bullet in place of the resinator. It should only be 50 bucks or so for install and you can ask to have the resinator in case you want to switch back later.
But I would do it because what little actual "loudness" your losing should be made up for by the more refined sound you'll get back. And like I said you can always put the resinator back on if you don't like it for a minimal $$ loss.
Good Luck

I got this from another post in this section. It has sound clips of both. They both sound good but the LM does have rasp.
