fittment issues? lq4 to 4l60e? Ive read mixed reviews on the subject some say it fits no problem and some say the crank is too long and needs a smaller converter i am going to put a lq4 into a 2000 camaro z28 a4 will i run into any problems i already know that i need the ls1 intake manifold, oil pan and acc. will i have any problems with the trans lining up? should i get an aftermarket tq. converter will that fix the problem? or can i take the flywheel off the ls1 and use that?

The 6.0L LQ$ from a 1999-2000 Truck has a longer crank, so you may have issues. If the LQ4 is from a 2001 (identified by aluminum 317 heads) then it will bolt right in, just swap the flexplate over from your car, as some LQ4 were backed by the 4L80E which used a different flexplate. This is what I did when I installed my 2003 LQ4 in my 2001 SS.
yeah what george said, my 2005 lq4 had a spacer between the crank and flywheel i had to take out. it was obvious when i seen my bolts where too short to bolt my flywheel on that i had to take the spacer off. haha
