What are some consequences of Exhaust leaks

I just got my car back on the road after it being repaired for a month for hitting a real bad pothole. The damage was only to the lower control arm and wheels nothing else. The problem is the last couple days that I have been driving it, it has been driving rough, less responsive on the throttle, and now smoke. I had exahausts from my header install before this but it did not seem this bad. There was also no smoke. Do exhaust leaks usually cause smoke or anything like that? Or is the car just going through a small cycle after sitting for so long. I have been driving it about 3 days

what color smoke or what does it smell like?

Valve guides can cause smoke after a vehicle sits for an extended period of time. And sometimes the will cause it at every start up.

Exhaust leaks can cause issue but i dont think it will cause the car to smoke.

The smoke that is coming out is white, and it comes out of one side more than the other

Did you or someone else Seafoam it?

i got bad leaks on my daily driver and it doesnt smoke it just pops back when you let out the throttle. it also burns a little more gas because the o2 see's a lean codition so it richens up when it doesnt need it.

White smoke generally means coolant man. Maybe a head gasket? Anybody aggree?

what kind of o2 sensors do you have? have you checked them? do you smell a sweet smell do to the smoke. check the oil (dipstick) might say something and check coolant

Yup , dump the oil and see if its milky

I guess ill take a look at my oil. I also noticed last night that once i get to about 2100 rpms that the car gives out for about .3 of a second.
