what other mods have you done?
if it is your first.... DONT do it. your stock maf is perfectly fine and should be good until your in the 425hp range. the new maf will require a tune (some one correct me if im wrong).

I thought the stock one was good for even a lil more then 425 but I could be wrong. Yeah if it's the first mod you might just have check engine light problem and have to go get it tuned and wouldn't wanna throw that big cash down until you have some mods under your belt to make it worth your money to get the tune.

The slp unit does come tuned already from them. I still wouldn't recommend until you are over 425-450 hp tho. The factory unit will hold out until about there.
