Which hi flow cats?
Here in Ohio i have emissions testing, I dont know about in the UK but we have the actually emissions test and a visual inspection. I run the Magnaflow High Flow cats
and they seem to work quite well and they really are not that expensive, I have yet to fail any of my emission tests with them on.
I believe the part number of the cats is 59959.

My cam probably wont be untill 2010 (Still time to find out more about it!), but I have herd I may have to be cautions with the size of a cam regarding emissions, thanks for the tip.
You say 'minimum'. Is there something else I can do to help?

Keep it in the 224 range with a high(114 or higher) and you should pass, but if you go with a big cam your probably out of luck.

With regards to keeping the AIR system, aparently the car has to warm up before the emission test is carried out.
I believe the AIR system helps the cats to reach operating temp quickly, so I guess I can deleate the AIR system and still pass?

What you want to get are Magnaflow 59959 cats. They are bullet-style metallic core cats. They flow very, very well, take up very little space and aren't too expensive. They're only around ~$100 each, significantly less than other brands. I strongly recommend you do a search on them. Note that if you purchase them, you will have to either construct your own y-pipe as a custom application or buy a y-pipe without cats and weld them in. Most catted y-pipes give you crappy cats. I had a custom y-pipe made with those cats specifically because they're so good.
