exhaust question 11.0:1 big camed 347ci w/ afr 205 heads and 90/90 induction
current exhaust is hooker headers 3inch Y pipe, 3inch over axle, and a Corsa muffler 3 inch inlet dual 3 inch outlets
this is way way loud
my question is ...... About how much power would be gained if i lets say went to like 18inch straight throughs off the header and turndowns ???
question #2 .......... Whats a good flowing exhaust thats not crazy loud like the Corsa is ???

I doubt you would gain a whole lot, the Corsa flows pretty darn well. Of course you could make the argument for more power because of eliminating the y pipe. I have JetHot longtubes and ORY pipe into a Corsa catback, but I put a Dynomax 18" bullet in the I pipe, before the axle. It quieted it down a decent amount, and took away a substantial amount of the rasp between 2300-3000 RPM's.
If you are already set on getting a new catback, the Magnaflow is pretty tame but flows very well too.
