probably a couple hundred bucks. Its real pain in the *** to do. I'm about to do mine when I install my heads in a week, but the heads will be off and the headers out of the way, so it will be much easier. You can search on here and find a write up on installing these things. Its my understanding (from quite a few people) that it takes a few hours.

If you got the time just do it yourself. Its a pain, but I did mine alone (first timer), well worth it

motormounts are easy.... 5 bolts each (including the through bolt),

through bolt and nut are 18mm....
bolts to block i believe are 13 or 14 mm?

lay under the car, undo the nut on the through.... jack motor slightly to take weight off.... slide bolt out.... take 1/4" drive ratchet with 13 or 14 mm on it and under the 4 bolts to the block....

on the driver side there is a chassis to block ground attached to the bolt. just have to remove that before the bolts to block.

reverse to install....

or you could really beat yourself up and install some slid motor mounts

I did a set on an LT1, it had shorty headers so I did not remove them, but still it was not fun, nor for a beginner.

although its not really that hard its not as easy as you make it sound. i have LTs and the starter has to come of to get to the pass mount loose. the ac compressor and bracket has to come off first and seperately bc the compressor is in the way of the bracket bolts so they cant come off as one piece and the bracket is in the way of the through bolt on the motor mount. also the alt and bracket have to come off the drivers side and the idler pulley thats over there too i think. getting the mounts off the block on the pass side seemed pretty easy bc there is a lot of room to work. the drivers side seems a lot higher up and harder to get to so i welded some extensions on two open end wrenches bc i just plain could no get my hand up there. the drivers side also has a heat sheild which is a 10mm nut on top of a 13mm stud. now if you go back with poly mounts they are really hard to line up so i suggest a friend being there to move the motor up and down as you need and a big prybar to whoever is on bottom to try to get things lined up. i would also suggest pulling your lid/maf off so that when you pull up on the motor it doesn't crack.
