Im about to install a set od Hedman LT's and matching 3in y-pipe. My car currently has a flowmaster catback (was on the car when i bought it) Im assuming that catback is only a 2 1/2in, with that being said what would i need to do to matach the 3in y-pipe to the catback???

Well some of the Y pipes reduce to 2.5 before they go into the intermediate pipe so you might be ok ( unless you have the Y in front of you and it doesnt reduce)

If so then just get the shortest reducer you can find. The intermediate will let it slip in and IIRC has a long area to accept it so the added length should not hurt. 3" to 2.5, you can pick one up at a local parts store.
