Gutted Cats Backpressure

If i gut my cats or run an offroad pipe, will i burn valves? Im running loudmouth so theres no muffler backpressure. Im thinking it should be fine, but i just wanted to check with others cause i dont have too much experience with exhaust dynamics.

No, your valves will be fine. The only way you could damage your valves as the result of an exhaust system would be to run the engine with no manifolds or headers, i.e. just bare heads.

hey sean.. this is Kirk that use to own the silver s2000.. got beat by u're old lighting a few times..

i've got a '00 z28 now.. the cats off it are for sale.. if u want them.

actually this thread is for going to offroad pipes, not going to cats
