Default 3" Duals

I am making alot of changes to the truck right now and exhaust is one of them. I did some porting on a set of 243's i had laying around and milled them .010, also using some .040 cometics. I made the heads look as close as i could to a set of Patriot stg.2 LS6's i took some pics of.
I also have the 228R-112, Fast 90 mildly ported/LS2 TB, Underdrive Pulley, CAI, Pacesetter LT's

My exhaust at the moment consists of just comming off the headers (3" collector) with a 2.5" SBC collector reducer, back into a 2.5" dual in/dual out Magnaflow with built in X and regency tips welded to the muffler. Im thinking of going with 3" duals with x-pipe into the same muffler/tips combo!

Running 3" duals here and love the sound. I'm getting ready to do a 3" true dual setup on my neighbors 2500 GMC.

with your mild setup, i can't imagine you'd gain much.

sound could change if you use different mufflers, but i can't see power changing significantly

dual 2.5" pipes should handle the 450hp you're making at the crank....

i suppose its possible you would gain 2-3hp with 3" pipes....but is it really worth that much hassle?
